What the new sizes are
These are among the most in-demand 17-inch sizes for road motorcycles. 120/70 B17 is a front tyre, while 160/60 B17 and 180/55 B17 fit the rear. All three are tubeless (TL) and carry the M+S marking; the letter B denotes a bias-belted construction. The T speed rating permits speeds up to 190 km/h — with room to spare for road and touring use.

180/55 B17 (73T) — rear wheel
One of the most common rear sizes on larger road and touring motorcycles. It fits the Yamaha Tracer 900, Tracer 9, Tracer 700 and Tracer 7, Kawasaki Versys 1000, Aprilia RS 660 and Tuono 660, BMW F 800 GT and R 1250 R.
