The wall here is thinner than in the Cross class — 1.5–2.0mm. That's enough for scooters and mopeds, where wheel loads are lower than on enduro or cross machines.

Material and durability

Heidenau 8 E/F is made from natural rubber: the material resists mechanical stress better than synthetic compounds and retains high elasticity even after prolonged use.

The trade-off with natural rubber: it loses pressure slightly faster than synthetic rubber, so check pressure with a gauge from time to time.

Valve and fitment

Heidenau 8 E/F comes with an angled 33G/90° valve — useful when a straight stem would foul the scooter's bodywork or chain guard.

Application

Heidenau 8 E/F suits scooters and mopeds with an 8-inch rim — the wider metric profile (110/80, 120/70) is more common on heavier scooters than the narrower 3.50–4.00.

Natural rubber retains elasticity better at low temperatures in Kazakhstan's winter, but ages faster than some synthetic materials during prolonged use in summer heat.

Fitting recommendation

When fitting Heidenau 8 E/F, use a new rim tape of the correct size. Pinching the tube with tyre levers remains one of the most common causes of premature tube failure.
