Heidenau Inner Tube 4 D – 33G/90° Valve

Heidenau 4 D fits the 3.00 tyre size for 4-inch rims — a compact size for mopeds and light scooters.

The wall here is thinner than in the Cross class — 1.5–2.0mm. That's enough for mopeds and scooters, where wheel loads are lower than on enduro or cross machines.

Material and durability

Heidenau 4 D is made from natural rubber: the material resists mechanical stress better than synthetic compounds and retains high elasticity even after prolonged use.

The trade-off with natural rubber: it loses pressure slightly faster than synthetic rubber, so check pressure with a gauge from time to time rather than by eye.

Valve and fitment

Heidenau 4 D comes with an angled 33G/90° valve — useful when a straight stem would foul a brake disc or wheel guard.

Natural rubber retains elasticity better at low temperatures in Kazakhstan's winter, but ages faster than some synthetic materials during prolonged use in summer heat — it's worth checking the tube's condition regularly.

Fitting recommendation

When fitting Heidenau 4 D, use a new rim tape of the correct size. Pinching the tube with tyre levers remains one of the most common causes of premature tube failure.
