Heidenau Inner Tube 15/16 F – TR 15 SV Valve

Heidenau 15/16 F fits the 5.00, 130/90, 140/90, 150/90, 140/80, 150/80, 160/80, 160/70, MU90 size range for 15-inch rims — the same range as the other 15/16 F variants, but with a different valve type.

The wall here is thinner than in the Cross class — 1.5–2.0mm: enough for everyday road riding.

Material and durability

Heidenau 15/16 F is made from natural rubber: the material resists mechanical stress better than synthetic compounds and holds elasticity for longer. The trade-off: it loses pressure slightly faster than synthetic rubber, so check pressure with a gauge from time to time.

Valve and fitment

Heidenau 15/16 F comes with a long-stem TR 15 SV valve — a different valve design from the G-type valves used on the other 15/16 F variants, so check the marking on the old tube before ordering a replacement.

Application

Heidenau 15/16 F suits motorcycles, scooters and mopeds with a 15-inch rim under normal road conditions. Natural rubber retains elasticity better at low temperatures in Kazakhstan's winter, but ages faster than some synthetic materials during prolonged use in summer heat.

Fitting recommendation

When fitting Heidenau 15/16 F, check the valve type and length on the original valve and use a new rim tape of the correct size. Pinching the tube with tyre levers remains one of the most common causes of premature tube failure.
